I came up as a Film Director. Wrote scripts, pitched studios, lived the whole Hollywood dream. I loved the craft of storytelling — building a world from nothing, making people feel something in under two hours. I shot short films with tiny budgets and big ambitions. REVERSION, Sticks & Stones, Pizza Night, Shawn — each one taught me more about directing, producing, and leading a crew than any film school could.
I started taking commercial gigs to pay the bills. Brands like Spotify, Oreo, Cheerios. And I noticed something: these companies were spending $20K-$50K on a single video, running it until it died, then starting from scratch. No testing framework. No hook variations. No system. Just one-off videos and crossed fingers. I knew there had to be a better way — and I had the production skills to build it.
I took everything I knew about storytelling, production, and performance marketing and built a system. Not a video production company — a creative engine. New Jack Productions was born.
